Jon Cor (born on November 17th, 1984) is a Canadian actor who is best known for playing the role of Hodge Starkweather in the series “ Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments”. The actor also voices the character of Brick on Total Drama.

Early life and background
Jon Cor was born in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, United States of America. His mother is Christine Catherwood and brother Michael Catherwood. He had a liking for acting since a very young age and hence after completing high school he enrolled himself in the Fanshawe College in London. He graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts from the College.
In the second year itself, he got roped in various opportunities and started giving out auditions until he bagged his first role in 2005. He booked his first audition for a major film franchise while holding multiple agencies at the end of the second year of the theatre arts and performance program. Other than being an actor he is also a writer, an acrobatic loving martial artist and a hobby musician.

Career
He booked his first audition for a major film franchise while holding multiple agencies at the end of his second year at college. He has also been a Ford model. He is best known for playing the role of Jake in Beaver Falls, break-in total drama revenge of the island, Zach Creed in being Erica, Jake Byers in the boy she met online and Hodge Starkweather in the TV series titled Shadowhunters: The mortal instruments which telecast in ABC drama. He also appeared as Ryan in Saw 3D.
Other than being an actor he is also a writer. He has Co-written his first novel “In Heat” which was originally drafted when he was just 19 years old. He has also published a collection of new and previously published short stories titled A Murder of Prose.
